She tastes like Nectar and Salt.

She tastes like fairytales.
Swan maiden at midnight.
Cream on the tip of a foxes tongue.
She tastes like Hope.
She has many origins. One says that Lord Lucifer sacrificed one half of his essence to create her as his twin flame. In Heaven, she was known as the Queen of Queens & was there to guide other beings through spiritual evolution. Lucifer & her lived in a kingdom until the rebellion. One common misconception is that she harms children, which she actually does quite the opposite. She is a very motherly deity & seeks to protect the children. (this is kinda a UPG, what she told me)
Another common myth talks about how she was actually the first woman and refused to lay underneath Adam, therefore left Eden, which later turned her into a daemon.
Also remember that she does not like people lusting over her. Any sexualisation of her will be punished, especially since she is married (so no, she will not be your god spouse and neither will be Lucifer). She is also the Mother of the Daemons!
Her appearance:
Now, this is more of a UPG, how she appears to me, specifically.
I see her as having long, wavy, dark (like a dark, blood red), voluminous hair and very pale skin. She has black horns, black feathery wings, sometimes also bat-like wings, and a somewhat chubby body type. Her fingernails are sharp & long, she has beautiful long lashes and usually wears very romantic gothic type of clothing. She also has fangs, pretty much like a vampire! She does represent vampires
Her personality:
She is both comforting and lecturing. She will make sure to give you a kick in the butt when you need it, but also have a very warm, caring energy whenever you need it. She will not accept you hating on yourself, since she thinks of women as strong warriors, especially since, according to the myth, she did not want to lay beneath a man, thus meaning she won’t let women be belittled, and stands for that. She can be harsh sometimes, but overall she is very motherly, very encouraging too! She’s either serious, or very up-hyping, super nice. Sometimes she even cracks a joke, which first seems out of character but then when you focus on her type of humor, it seems fitting

Dragon bowls are a passive working designed to invite traditioal draconic energies into your life or practice! That means power, wisdom, confidence, and prosperity. It can also be used as a way to attract friendly dragon spirits if you incorporate spirit work into your practice. It’s inspired by the way money bowls are designed to attract luck and wealth. Feel free to alter and fine-tune it to whatver suits your personal needs.
First, get a bowl. It doesn’t have to be that big unless you have a lot you plan on putting in it and need the space. A trinket dish may be enough. It doesn’t have to be explicitly dragon-themed, but try to make it something of reasonable quality. We’re trying to create something that reflects an abundance of treasure, after all, so disposable styrofoam bowls aren’t ideal. Local or handmade pottery is a good choice.
Fill the bowl with your dragon hoard. This can technically be made of anything, but particularly crystals and coins. Shiny curios, paper money, anything that conveys some sort of luxury or value is also acceptable. As tempting as they are, I try to avoid shiny plastic gems and similar items because while they look nice, it’s still only a superficial value and they’re easily disposable. Don’t feel like you need to break the bank for your bowl. Start with whatever you already have on hand, even if it’s just some loose crystal beans and spare change. It will grow over time.
Remember to feed your bowl. This is important. If you want it to stay effective, don’t let this thing just sit and collect dust. Add little things to the bowl when you can, or burn incense in/over the bowl. Mix around the treasure now and then. I personally let the ashes fall and collect in the bowl. Every now and then I give it a refresh and clean it out to keep everything looking nice, but you may prefer to let the ashes build up over time and have that be part of it. Whatever makes sense for you!
The stuff in the bowl operates like an offering would. This is especially relevant for things like crystals. Everything in the hoard is dedicated to being a part of the hoard now, so try to avoid taking stuff out of the bowl to use it for other purposes and then putting it back in. If you’re doing that then you don’t have a hoard, you have a storage place for your stuff. In other words, no take-backsies. If you truly need something out of the bowl but don’t want to damage the hoard, I recommend just removing it completely from the bowl and replacing it with something of equal or greater value.
When I built my first altar, it looked like a sad thrift store shelf, mismatched candles, half-melted incense sticks, a chipped mug standing in for a chalice. I was so desperate for it to look witchy, like the glossy photos in books. But it didn’t feel like mine. It felt like a stranger’s stage.
It took me years, and many messy, candle-wax-soaked attempts, to realize: your altar isn’t an Instagram post. It’s a heartbeat. It’s your magic’s nest. It should feel like home, because it is one.
Here’s how I’ve learned to build an altar that breathes with you, one that feels like warm floors, familiar shadows, and the exact right hush of your spirit.
🕯️ 1. Know What An Altar Really Is
Strip away the fancy words: an altar is just a sacred spot. It’s where you gather your power and your gratitude in one place.
It can be as humble as a windowsill or as grand as a dedicated room. A shelf, a table, a box, all that matters is intention.
Think of it as a tiny crossroads: your body, your spirit, and your magic meet there. The rest is just trimmings.
🌿 2. Start With What Calls You
Forget the shopping list that says you must have a pentacle, a wand, a chalice, this and that.
Ask: what do you reach for when you feel witchiest? A candle that smells like your grandmother’s kitchen? A stone you found at the river? A jar of salt?
Your altar is not a museum. It’s a nest of meaning. Let it be ugly at first. Let it be real.
🔮 3. Give It a Heartbeat
I always tell baby witches: your altar’s alive if it changes with you.
Maybe you set it up on the floor for a spell, then move it to a shelf when you get a cat who loves knocking things over. Maybe you swap the flowers every season. Maybe you leave offerings that rot a little, because magic is not sterile.
Mine has bits of charred candle wicks, a cracked seashell, and a scrap of cloth from my mother’s apron. I clean it, but I don’t bleach it of history.
🗝️ 4. Make It a Conversation
An altar is not a monologue. You don’t just speak at it. You speak with it.
When you light a candle, linger. When you place a new object, ask it, “What do you bring here?” Listen. Maybe you rearrange things when they feel stale. Maybe you sleep with a stone under your pillow before giving it a spot on your altar, so it knows your dreams.
This is the bit the books forget to tell you: your altar listens back.
🌙 5. Protect It, But Don’t Police It
It’s good to cleanse your altar, blow off dust, pass smoke over it, ring a bell if it feels heavy.
But don’t let perfectionism be your deity. I once wasted hours agonizing over where to put a feather. It’s a feather, Nyra. Spirits don’t care if it’s center-left or right.
Your hands are sacred. Trust them.
🕸️ A Few Simple Ideas To Try
Place something that represents each element, but only if it feels real to you. A rock, a candle, a cup of water, a pinch of salt.
Add one thing that smells good. Scent ties your spirit to memory.
Leave an offering to your guides or ancestors, even if it’s just a whisper of thanks.
Keep a tiny cloth or broom nearby to sweep off old energy when needed.
🌒 A Final Whisper
Your altar is not a shrine to aesthetics, it’s a mirror for your spirit.
Build it slow. Let it shift. Let it hold your tears, your giggles, your burnt matches and hopeful wishes.
One day you’ll sit at that sacred little corner, a mug of tea in hand, and think: This is mine. And it will hum back: Yes. And I am yours.
(I’m going to re-type all the questions under the cut in case anybody needs it for whatever reasons, I know they’re kinda small on the image and the image description is not for it).
This is my main megaspread! I use it for when I’m, as it says, starting with a new guide – but also when I’m checking back in after a year or so with old guides I feel need it (though I sometimes harvest some questions and not do it all).
I know it’s long, but I hope at least one person likes it.
As with all my spreads, feel free to edit them to your liking, but if you re-post them or post your edits, please link back to this blog. Thank you! Happy reading!
Blessed May!! I know I don’t normally post about witchy things too much but today I figured, in the spirit of one of my favorite holidays, I’d share the recipe I made to celebrate (featuring a bit of kitchen witchery). Possets are a traditional dessert that date back to the middle ages, and utilize cooked cream with lemon juice, gelatin, or egg as a stiffener to create a custard like consistency. This one uses fresh lemon juice.
Ingredients:
🌷 four cups heavy/whipping cream (fertility and abundance)
🌷 ½ cup honey (try using local!!) (longevity and sweetness)
🌷 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice (you want that b FRESH squeezed directly from the lemon’s teet iykyk) (purification and love)
🌷 ½ cup lavender flowers (love and peace)
🌷 ½ cup chamomile flowers (love and peace)
(i used dry flowers for mine but i recommend fresh flowers for more oomf)
Instructions:
1. Combine your cream and honey in a medium sized sauce pan and place over low heat. Stir until well combined, then add your dried flowers.
2. Bring cream, flower and honey mixture to a low simmer, and then allow to cook for 3 minutes. The cream may bubble quite a bit- continue stirring and reduce heat if necessary to avoid scorching!
3. Once three minutes is up, remove from heat and stir in lemon juice. Mix until well incorporated, and allow to cool for just a few minutes.
4. Strain out flowers and pour the mixture into small jars or parfait glasses.
5. Refrigerate to set- roughly two hours at least, but overnight is optimal. If you’re really excited you could try popping them in the freezer but I haven’t tried that myself so use your own discretion. You just want the custard to set.
6. Top with flowers if desired and go crazy go stupid 💕
Enjoy the holiday and please reblog with pics if you do this, I’d love to see 🫶
Beltane evening, creeping towards midnight. Gave me needed confidence boost. I am on the path of being spiritually guided, still connected to the veil and magic around me. And thank goodness this tired soul can offer quiet moments as offerings. Too often I run away from a quiet moment to enjoy by trying to race thru some other necessary task. A moment to just breathe and take in what’s around me, needed for everyone involved.
